Meet Your Host: Steve Stanulis

Steve Stanulis combines NYPD detective experience with unprecedented Hollywood access through his award-winning entertainment career. Born in Staten Island and a Wagner College graduate, Steve retired from the NYPD in 2002 after years of detective work across New York City's most challenging cases.

As a celebrity bodyguard, Steve protected A-list stars while witnessing criminal activities hidden from public view. Most notably, he served as Kanye West's bodyguard from 2016 to 2021, working through major incidents including Kanye's SNL meltdown and Met Gala events. His entertainment industry controversy includes a high-profile legal battle with Kanye and Kim Kardashian, who threatened him with a $30 million lawsuit over his public statements about their behavior.

Steve's legitimate entertainment credentials include award-winning directing work such as "Clinton Road" (Best Horror Feature) and "Wasted Talent" (Best Director). He has appeared in major productions including "Gangs of New York," "The Sopranos," and "The Deuce."

Now a licensed private investigator specializing in celebrity crime cases, Steve hosts Bulletproof podcast, investigating active celebrity crimes and ongoing entertainment industry scandals unlike other true crime shows focused on historical cases.
